Here are some examples:
- Plank – Get on all fours, then raise yourself up onto your forearms. Keep your back straight and hold for 30 seconds or more at a time (build up to 1 minute). If this is too easy for you, try holding the plank while lifting one leg at a time off of the floor for extra challenge!
- Leg lifts – Lie on your back with both legs together and arms at sides; raise both legs off floor until they’re perpendicular to ground; hold for two seconds before lowering them slowly back down again; repeat 10 times total per set (two sets total).
Stretch As Often As Possible
In order to stretch properly, you have to understand the different types of stretches. There are two main types:
- Static Stretching – This type of stretching involves holding a position for an extended period of time (usually 30 seconds or more). It is often used before an exercise routine or sport in order to loosen up muscles and joints.
- Dynamic Stretching – Dynamic stretching involves moving through the full range of motion for each muscle group being stretched with little resistance from other parts of your body (such as pulling your leg up towards your chest).
